Important Information about Procedures for Opening a New IRA Plan Account:
Federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person who opens an account. We will ask for your name, address, date of birth, and other information that will allow us to identify you as well as confirm your identity to avoid fraudulent activity.
In order to process your account opening request, we ask that you provide Canandaigua National Trust Company with a copy of an acceptable form of identification (US Driver’s license, Passport, US Military ID, or US-State-issued ID). Please submit a copy of your ID with the IRA documents you will be producing through the IRA Service Center™.
