A Trusted Expert. A Valued Partner.

At Canandaigua National Trust Company, we accept a full fiduciary role as trustee. With Officers who average more than 20 years of trust experience, we’re able to offer you a valued partnership that provides long-term stability.

We offer both individuals and money management firms the flexibility of choosing Canandaigua National Trust Company as a trustee or co-trustee by allowing the investment management of the trust assets to be separated from other fiduciary duties.

Trustee Services

Delegated trusts – As a trustee or co-trustee of an individuals' trust assets, we hire an individual’s money manager to handle the investment management of the portfolio, while we hold custody and accept the fiduciary duties of the trust assets.
Directed trusts – We partner directly with a money manager as a trustee or co-trustee of their clients’ trust assets, accept the fiduciary duties, and hold custody of the assets – only the investment-management of the portfolio rests with the money manager.
